Summary / Role Purpose 

Join the Ansys Customer Excellence (ACE) team to support our customers in a new and innovative way. The landscape of customer support and learning experience is fast changing, and you will be at the forefront of this change focusing on developing and deploying solutions for our customers. The ACE team is in continuous pursuit of operating with utmost efficiency and identifies AI as one of the new paradigm shifts. In this role, you will use your engineering knowledge and the power of GenAI to streamline and accelerate AI transformation of technical support and learning and development within the ACE team. You will be a part of our positive, dynamic team of enthusiastic and passionate engineers striving to deliver the highest quality solutions to our customers, advancing your knowledge, experience, and impact on the success of our customers and Ansys. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Apply engineering expertise and knowledge of simulation techniques to develop knowledge data related to Ansys Electronics products that can be consumed by Large Language Models (LLMs). 
2. Identify gaps in existing knowledge and work with multiple subject matter experts to fill these gaps. 
3. Work with internal & external databases to develop data pipelines for developing AI models. 
4. Develop technical expertise in both Ansys Electronics products and state-of-the-art GenAI technologies that are appropriate for technical support, learning and development. 
5. Follow legal and enterprise level data governance policies while handling any data. 
6. Fully document all data workflows developed towards AI powered applications and present them to the Data audit teams. 
7. Participate in other strategic team and company initiatives, as needed. 
8. Be agile and open to new responsibilities. This is a very fast paced role requiring a “try often, fail fast” kind of mindset. 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience 

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 
2. Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS+0. 
3. Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages. 
4. Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in writing and speaking English. 
5. Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency. 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills 

1. Preferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: MS+0. 
2. Knowledge of the use of Ansys Electronics products (such as HFSS / Maxwell) or other commercial or in-house thermal simulation codes is a plus. 
3. Proficiency in Python scripting and knowledge of the basics of machine learning would be a plus. 
4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as with others in a diverse team environment. 
5. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and to communicate effectively. 
6. Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
