Development And Testing

1. Assist in designing, developing, and testing of software to resolve defects and implement user stories.
2. Develop and commit to test-driven development.
3. Utilize modern development practices to solve complex problems related to the team’s domain.

Project And Team Coordination

1. Communicate project status regularly, inclusive of all pertinent details.
2. Actively participate in planning meetings related to assigned areas.
3. Coordinate with other developers and the team, working to understand how best to implement change requests.

Expertise and Tools Development

1. Work to develop a good expertise in your team’s area of responsibility.
2. Work to develop a good understanding of tools, technologies, and processes for software development.
3. Assist in writing, sizing, and breaking down user stories and defects.
4. Assist in conducting peer reviews.
5. Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
2. Experience:
3. 1-3 years’ experience in developing commercial applications in C# or C++.
4. 1-3 years’ experience in one of the domain areas for the target scrum team.
5. Experience developing for Microsoft Windows using Visual Studio.
6. Experience with standard software development practices such as source control, peer reviews, and unit testing.

Preferred Skills

1. Experience with agile software development a plus.
